“Breathe Again” Chris Cobbins ft. Butta P
I was excited about working on this song with Chris. I was introduced to his music last year and have been looking forward to hearing more from him. I think he is very talented and has the ability to bring something new. So when I was requested for the feature I jumped on the opportunity. When the track hit, I was like whoa… I get asked to do features and not often blown away at what I’m hearing. So it was an honor to lend my vocals to it. I love working with artist that haven’t been fully “discovered” yet. He’s been a part of some great projects but I’m excited for him to release his solo record. Restore Fest 2012
We’ll be hanging out in Joplin, MO this weekend with some of the coolest artist. We’ve been big supporters of Convoy of Hope. So we are excited to be a part of the festival this year. We’ll be hanging out with our boy KJ-52, Shonlock, Jeremy Camp, Mandisa and some others. Butta is going to try to score an interview with Mandisa. What questions should we ask her?

It depends on my creative mood. I’m really hard on myself so sometimes it can take me days to get my verse where I want it. Sometimes I have these rare moments that the vibe is just right and I can write the verse in my head within 15 min., that has happened on some of my best verses.
Birthday Wish - #11 - Keurig Single-Cup Brewer
If you’ve been following me long enough, you know that I am a coffee drinker. I don’t overdo it. I drink at the most, 2 cups of coffee a day. I’m one of those people that once I drink a certain amount of caffeine, it begins to have an opposite reaction to my body. I get very sleepy. So I’ve learned to drink it in moderation. My mother attempted to buy me a “coffee machine” for christmas, but it didn’t quite work out too well. The machine was poorly made and I was left disappointed. She actually tried talking me out of getting a coffee maker. She proceeded to tell me 100 reasons why I didn’t want a coffee maker then says, well if you want one buy one. ha. Oh mi madre…

I love wearing hats. I think they give every outfit an extra touch of steez. I’ve always been a fan of these type of hats. juanlove has a great selection of these. I’m always plotting on which one of his hats I’m going to wear on stage when he’s not looking. I figured I need to start my own collection of hats. There’s nothing like wearing a stylish hat on a bad hair day. Hat and a scarf makes an outfit work.
